Carnivàle as a “Talkie”

HBO hasn’t budged on their decision to resurrect Carniv à le, but does that mean we should give up? No way! Knowing the talent and entertaining appeal of Charlie Chaplin, would D.W. Griffith have given up? Carniv à le takes place in a time when Hollywood was taking its first steps to a Golden Age. What better place to tell the story than the big screen? It’s time to shift our attention to some film companies. Let’s pitch what we know will be a great story. Don’t worry about the details of how long it should be or at what part in the story it should begin, we’ll leave that to Dan Knauf. Just get them interested and talking.
